Lil Wayne has shared why he thinks people in Hip Hop “hate on” Drake, and he believes it has to do with the color of his Young Money collaborator’s skin.
The New Orleans legend stopped by The Richard Sherman Podcast on Friday (January 19) to share his thoughts.

“I get that from my upbringing, from being around Birdman,” he began, when Sherman praised his talent-scouting abilities.
When Sherman asked why people hate on Drake, Weezy didn’t hesitate to weigh in. “He red, he light-skinned.”
